End of an Era - The Beginning of Another
Deut 31: verse 8.
And the Lord, he it is that goes before you, fear not neither be dismayed.
For it has been given unto men twenty and three score years to know their God, Ps. 90 verse10. Alas, 120 years will the Lord be patient. Gen 6: 3.
At the age of 120 years Moses was instructed by the Lord of a new Era that was to come. It was time for a baton to be passed on to a new generation, under the leadership of The Lord; who set himself to clear the path for his people, choosing Joshua next in line from Moses to lead them through. Deut 31: 3-5. Moses brought them out from the bonds of slavery, Joshua would lead them into the land that flowed with milk and honey, a promised land of fruitfullness and sustenance.
Joshua would lead the people of God into their inheritance and a new spiritual Era would be birthed from the heart of heaven. Thus said the Lord.. " Moses my servant is dead Joshua 1:2.
Therefore arise now Joshua, pass over this Jordan ( this Era of bondage) (cross over the line of this boundary that my people may receive newness of life) "Every place the sole of their feet treads belongs to them. The people of God had now been given a new inheritance - from bondage and captivity, to freedom and newness of life. The Era of death and bondage was passing and a new era of life was opening, that the people may learn, understand and recognise the Goodness of their creator. That they would understand that he never fails, but always remains faithful. Even as he was with Moses. So would he be with Joshua, so would he be with his people. Never failing them nor forsaking them.
This is the same Lord who is with us today. The Lord of the old testament is the Lord of the new. This Lord has closed one Era, the era of sin and death and has ushered us over a spiritual boundary line and crossed us over a spiritual Jordan into a new beginning of a new era. An era of life everlasting designed for a righteous new breed, that has been born into the promise land of Christ crucified, subjecting them within his promised land of Marvelous light, as inheritors of his kingdom. Luke 12:32. Thus, through this old era of bondage, he has gone before Us, cleared the path and birthed a new beginning of life and righteousness, a promised land whereby he swore by himself Hebs 6: 13-14 through the father of all nations Abraham, that he would fulfill his word and set All nations free through his seed Jesus the Messiah, Gal 3:16. Thus ushering in a totally new spiritual beginning and the birth of a new era.
John 3:16.
This same son is the Lord who goes before us always and will be with us forever. Deut 31:8 and the Lord he it is that doth go before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you. Within this new beginning. This path hewn out for you. Fear not neither be dismayed.
The past era of your life closes when you accept the supreme sacrifice of Jesus the son of God and the beginning of a new era or inheritance arises. For you have trusted in his word. Which says.."I have led you out of bondage into a land of fruitfullness. Even so Jesus our Lord has led us over Jordan into his promised land, and has begun for us a new era.
Luke 12:32. Fear not little flock. For your Father has been pleased to give you the Kingdom.
