Be not dismayed, as the song writer sings, oh, how He loves me. Yes, oh how our Heavenly Father loves us, so much that He gave is only begotten son Oh, how God loves us that He prepared a plan of salvation. Oh, how He loves us that the seed of God would be born only to die for you to die for me. Yes, oh how He loves us so that He bled from every pore, was chastised, spit upon, and remained silent when false accusations were presented against Him. Oh, that love that bore the sin of all mankind. Oh, that love that which endured the cross, for the joy set before him.
Our great and merciful Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior love us with an everlasting love, They draw us with tender mercy and unfailing kindness. God’s love is eternal, like Him, His love has no beginning or end because God indeed and, in fact, is Love.
Our Lord takes great delight in us. We are His creation, created in His image. Can you imagine the love and adoration of our Creator, the one who made the heavens; He too made the earth to be our dwelling place, a home in which we have been given dominion and authority. This earth was created and perfected then once everything was prepared (all with us in mind). Our Father God Almighty formed us and breathed upon us His Spirit, the breath of Life. Oh, how He loves us, He created us to be just like Him!
Our Sovereign Lord, full of tender mercy and compassion. Oh, how He loves us. He is not forceful, He has given us agency, the freedom to choose. Life or death, righteousness or sin, but He urges us to choose life. For within the decision of righteousness, we obtain abundant life. Glory hallelujah abundant life, dwelling in provision, protection, peace, and positive persuasion of the binding love of God.
Oh, how He loves us, oh, how he loves us, so much so that He has left a manuscript to equip us, His word the holy bible, and He has left the Comforter, The Revealer of Truth, Our Companion, the Sweet Holy Spirit. Oh, how He loves us, so much so that He would call us His friend. Oh, how He loves us, so much so that He would have a mercy seat available and a constant connecting channel called prayer. More than that, we are informed that the answer to every prayer is yes and amen. Therefore, let us not pray amiss, but let us pray that our will can be conformed to that of our Merciful Lord. For as we seek Him and His kingdom, all things shall be added unto us.
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them gets lost, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountain and go in search of the one that is lost?
Do you feel the pulling? Do you feel the tugging? Do you feel the grace of the Lord chasing after you?
He is calling you to come and rest, to come and abide, to come and remain. And if you have been walking with the Lord for a while, He is calling you to, ‘Come up hither’ For there are always greater and deeper levels in Christ. As such, please continue to run, continue thirst, and continue to press toward the higher calling in Christ Jesus.
