I am compelled to bring to your attention that after Jesus resurrection he went straight to work. He didn't meet at anyone's house to discuss the details of his death and resurrection. No, Jesus went to work. He sent word of the plan to meet his disciples at Galilee, where he set in place one of Christianity's most important plans, The details of the Great Commission Matt 28v.18.
Jesus informed the disciples;
'All authority in heaven and on earth have been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age'.
Jesus wants us to truly accept and believe his resurrection. Some of his disciples were shocked and disbelieved that he recovered after such a brutal death on the cross. Jesus rebuked them for their lack of faith.
Jesus needs us to get ready & to be prepared to share our faith, the love and plan of Salvation to family friends and to the world that God is concerned that no one should perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
You may be already onto this and have shared the gospel of Jesus Christ with many people.
Jesus wants us to continue to grow in him through the Holy Spirit, who is our Helper and the more we stay connected to the word and be in prayer we learn more of the nature of christ and how we take on his character, ie denying ourselves, taking up the cross of christ becoming humble, kinder people understanding servanthood in our home, church and community. We become less like the world and more like Jesus.Matt 16
