Live in peace - Romans 12:18

"If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."(Amp)

Since the end of the Neopoleonic War in 1815 in Europe it was hoped there would be peace in the world. But there have been many wars since this time.

During the time of war there are often millions of deaths and families torn apart stricken with grief, unsettling families. We also see that wars and conflicts often mean people are displaced and lose their homes and livelihoods/work. People barely survive with minimum shelter, food and no health services.

Locally we are seeing more unsettled families and seperation occur due to outside influences where children in extreme cases go missing.

Disagreements in families can also bring stress and unhappiness.

We have seen world leaders arranging summits after summits trying to find peaceful agreements. However these often do not last because the things we do on earth are temporary. And only what we do in Christ will last. Lasting peace can only come from Christ Jesus.

John 16:33 "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace".

We can rest assure that despite all of the conflicts we are seeing and experiencing, that there will be an end.

Peace is possible, when we accept Jesus Christ in our hearts, trusting him with our worries, cares and fears.

Jesus wants to give us lasting peace. He said in John 14:27 " Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid".✝️

There are well over 50 references to Peace in the Holy Bible read & remember those that mean that most to you. Keep trusting God, growing your faith in him.

God us near.
