Surrender it all to God
Focus Scriptures:
Act 2:1-2: When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Joel 2:12-13: “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
This week’s topic surrender all to God is a powerful snapshot of the posture to be assumed within Christendom. Surrender it all to God, motives, desires, everything connected to the will of our flesh. For the flesh is stubborn by nature and wars against Spirit; the Devine nature of God. That desires us to be transformed, empowered and equipped. Our flesh-nature is very limited and limiting it drives off of selfishness, lust and impatience, this is the nature we have be born into, a nature hostile toward God.
Still Revelation testifies that the Lord God is the beginning and the end, He is our protector, He does not sleep nor slumber. Praise God for His eyes are in every place keeping watch on good and evil. Let us consider as the Psalmist did, what is mankind that such a Big God is mindful of us. Truly. what is mankind that the Creator would speak all things into existence than take time to mould us in His image. Doesn’t that make you a bit curious? Our Great God is all seeing and all knowing, Our Great God is love and we are the object of His affection.
Surrender all to God, you are in safe hands. He is our peace, our provision, our defender, our righteousness. He is our strength, the reason why we are not consumed. He is our healing. He is our way, He is truth and He is Life. He has given us authority and power, and the privilege of choice. Even more, He has given us His Spirit! Glory Hallelujah, All Praise be unto our Great God. God desires us to be empowered; God desires us the be seated with Him and to have life eternal.
Surrender all to God, you can do it for all things are possible in Christ Jesus. If you haven’t yet, I invite you to welcome Christ Jesus into your heart and if you are born again and you are struggling with anything do not be hard on yourself. Remember Gods is love. He is patient, He is kind and He wants you to succeed. That why He has an ultimate plan of salvation. Jesus Christ, God in the flesh came to show us the way, moreover He came to pay the price. We were the joy that was set before Him. There was no other way, we could not redeem our selves so Love paid the price. And even now our Lord is still watching, still interceding, still covering, still standing in the gap.
Surrender it all to God. He knows our short comings, yet He desires that we draw closer to Him. He desires a relationship with us, He wants to commune with us, He wants no seporation. Our love God doesn’t want us to hide. He wants us to be open and freely come into the inner tabernacle. The vale has been torn. Remember Adam sinned and was ashamed still God covered up their nakedness. This was an act of love and grace. That same love as grace is what our Great God desires to extend to us. God doesn’t want us to stay in our falling state. In this dispensation we have a helper, we have a guide we have a Great counsel; The Holy Spirit. God’s own Spirit He desires to pour out unto us. This is His gift to ud and our children and all who are called.
Surrender it all to God that you may be filled with the utterance of the Holy Spirit that gives power. Power to overcome, power the resist temptation, power to walk in freedom. Power the speak and declare. Power to withstand and power to endure to the end. For indeed our Lord has gone to prepare a place and as those of Galilee saw Him ascend, we will see Him return in that same manner. All Glory be to God. But we must be prepared so that we can be lifted, equipped and protected in the day of the Lord. Like the hearts that were pricked on that Pentecostal day may our hearts continually be poured out in gratitude, weeping with thanks giving. For our Lord is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm to all that come before Him in humility and earnest repentance.
So, what shall we do? Surrender it all to God.
Be blessed my dear brother and Sister, God loves you with an everlasting love and nothing can pluck you from His mighty hand. You have a hope for hope in Christ Jesus. Cast your burdens upon Him and drink from His fountain of truth.
